An Advintek alternative when there is nothing to integrate
Advintek connects your existing ERP to MyInvois and manages the pipeline for you — 100+ supported systems, a dedicated account manager, quoted per engagement. We are software you run yourself, at RM49/month, published. The right answer depends entirely on whether you have systems that need wiring together.

Neither product keeps your books. Both sit beside your accounting system. So this is not a scope comparison — it is a question of whether you want a price you can read today or a quote fitted to your volume.
Advintek may quote you less than we charge. We cannot know, and we are not going to imply otherwise.
Do you have an ERP? Then this is not a close call
Advintek publishes support for 100+ systems — QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, Zoho Books, AutoCount, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, FreshBooks, Shopify — and will connect yours, sync the data, and manage submission and archiving as a service. We publish zero pre-built connectors. If your invoices live in one of those systems and you want them flowing to LHDN without writing code, Advintek does that and we do not.
If your invoices are raised by people and your books are with an accountant, there is nothing for that machinery to connect to, and an engagement is a large answer to a small question.
Choose Advintek e-Invoicing when
- Your invoices originate in an ERP or accounting system and you want the vendor to own that connection — Advintek publishes 100+ supported systems including QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, Zoho Books, AutoCount, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, FreshBooks and Shopify.
- You want a dedicated account manager and a chosen support tier — Advintek publishes 8×5, 16×5 and 24×7 options.
- You need someone accountable for a phased rollout across systems or entities; Advintek publishes implementation timelines of 8 to 16 weeks for most businesses.
- You may qualify for their published “Free Until 31 December 2027” offer for eligible Phase 5 businesses — worth asking about directly.
- You want e-Invoicing delivered as a managed service rather than as software you operate yourself.
- You want data sync, generation, submission and archiving automated end to end without your team running the loop.
Choose MyInvoisBridge when
- You want to see the price before the conversation. Ours is published; theirs is quoted.
- You do not have an ERP to integrate, so the main thing Advintek is selling would go unused.
- You would rather run the loop yourself — create, validate, submit, track — than hand it to a managed service.
- You want to start today on a 14-day trial rather than begin an implementation with a timeline attached.
- You want a documented REST API to build against on your own schedule, on Pro at RM199/month.
An engagement, or a subscription
This comparison is not about features. Both products create, validate, submit and track LHDN e-Invoices, and neither keeps your books. The difference is what you are buying and who does the work.
Advintek sells a customised implementation. They describe an “E-Invoice as Service” model: they connect your source systems, automate the data sync, generate and submit the documents, archive them, and give you a dedicated account manager plus a support tier you choose — 8×5, 16×5 or 24×7. Their published timelines are “Go Live in 24–48 Hours” for SMEs and “8 to 16 weeks” for most businesses. That range is theirs, published on their own site, and it is refreshingly honest: integration work takes as long as it takes, and a vendor quoting one number for every customer would be the one to distrust.
We sell self-service software. You sign up, you get a login, you create or push documents, you watch the status. There is no implementation phase because there is nothing to implement — which is a virtue only if you had nothing that needed implementing.
Neither model is better in the abstract. They suit businesses with different amounts of internal capacity and different amounts of existing software. A company with SAP and no developers should not be reading our API docs; a two-person consultancy should not be scoping an 8-week engagement.
Public fixed price not found
Advintek states: “Contact Advintek for a tailored quotation.” There is no published rate, so there is no price comparison to make — only a comparison of how each of us sells.
Their published support tiers (8×5, 16×5, 24×7) and their implementation range both suggest that cost varies with service level and integration scope as well as volume. That is coherent for an integration-led vendor: quoting per engagement usually produces a better-fitting price than forcing every customer into the same plan. It also means you cannot budget from their website, and we can.
Advintek separately publishes a “Free Until 31 December 2027” offer for eligible Phase 5 businesses. We cannot verify who qualifies or what it covers, so we are not going to characterise it — but if you are a Phase 5 business, it is obviously worth asking them about before paying anyone, including us.
We do not know whether an Advintek quote for your business would be higher or lower than RM49/month. Anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.

REST API, OAuth client credentials and webhooks are available on the MyInvoisBridge Pro plan (RM199/month) and are not included in Starter or Business. “Not publicly confirmed” means the vendor does not state it plainly on their official pages — it is not a “no”, and you should ask them.
Who runs the loop
Advintek automates this loop on your behalf, sourced from your existing systems. With us, you run it — which means you see every step, and you are also the one watching it.
Create the document
Raise an invoice, credit note, debit note or refund note in the app, or push it in over the REST API on Pro.
Validate before sending
We check the fields LHDN requires up front, so a rejection is caught at your desk rather than after submission.
Submit to MyInvois
The document is mapped to UBL 2.1 and submitted to LHDN over an authenticated connection — sandbox first, production when you are ready.
Track what happened
Poll status through to Valid or Invalid, with a full event timeline per document, so you can see exactly what LHDN accepted, rejected, or is still processing.
That loop is the entire product. Advintek runs the same loop. The difference is not what happens to the document — it is what you had to agree to before you could send it.
Weeks, or an afternoon — measuring different things
It would be easy to put “8 to 16 weeks” next to “same afternoon” and declare victory. That would be dishonest, so here is what those numbers actually mean.
Advintek’s 8–16 weeks covers connecting your ERP, mapping your data, testing against LHDN, and rolling out across your entities — with their team doing the work. Their 24–48 hour figure is for SMEs with simpler setups. Our “afternoon” covers a person signing up and keying in an invoice, with no systems involved at all.
If you have an ERP, our afternoon does not exist: you would spend those same weeks building the integration yourself against our API, except you would be doing it rather than them, and without a dedicated account manager when it broke. The timeline is not a fault of their product. It is the cost of integration work, which someone always pays.
Advintek publishes no self-serve free trial. Ours is 14 days, no credit card, with guided onboarding into the LHDN pre-production sandbox so you can prove the submission path before going live.
A fixed monthly price, for comparison
RM49, RM99 and RM199, with 100, 500 and 2,000 documents a month. That is the whole commercial model. If it fits your volume you can decide today; if it does not, a vendor who quotes against volume is a more sensible conversation than forcing yourself into a plan.
Starter

When someone else should own it
Choose Advintek if your invoices originate in a system on their list — and with 100+ supported systems including QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, Zoho Books, AutoCount, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Odoo, FreshBooks and Shopify, they probably are. Getting the same outcome from us means your developer building it. If you do not have a developer, that sentence is the whole decision.
Choose Advintek if you want the pipeline managed rather than operated — data sync, generation, submission and archiving running without your team watching it, with a dedicated account manager and the support tier you picked. We give you a screen and expect you to look at it.
Choose Advintek if you are rolling out across multiple systems or entities and need someone accountable for the plan. Their 8–16 week range exists because that work is real, and having a vendor own it is worth paying for.
And ask Advintek about their published “Free Until 31 December 2027” offer if you are an eligible Phase 5 business — we cannot verify the terms, but a free managed service would beat paying us.
When the integration does not exist
A managed integration service is priced and scoped around connecting systems. If you have no systems to connect — invoices typed by a person, books with an accountant, a spreadsheet somewhere — then you would be buying the wrapper around a capability you are not using. That is the clearest case for us, and it describes a large share of Malaysian SMEs.
MyInvoisBridge fits when you want to run the loop yourself and see it working: create the document, catch the errors before LHDN does, submit, watch the status land on Valid. RM49/month, 100 documents, no engagement, no account manager, no timeline.
It also fits when you do have a developer and would rather own the integration than outsource it. Our REST API with OAuth client credentials and webhooks is on Pro at RM199/month, documented publicly. That is a real alternative to a managed service for teams with the capacity — and a bad idea for teams without it. Weighing the build honestly? See what integrating the LHDN API yourself involves.
Businesses in professional services and F&B land here regularly: real compliance obligations, no ERP, and no appetite for a project.
What connecting actually involves
Neither product holds your books, so there is no accounting migration in either direction. What differs is who builds the connection between your systems and LHDN.
- With Advintek — they connect it. 100+ published systems, data sync automated, submission and archiving managed, 24–48 hours for a simple SME setup or 8–16 weeks for most businesses.
- With us — you connect it, or you do not connect it at all. Manual document creation is available now on every plan and is genuinely enough for many businesses. The REST API on Pro is there if you want automation and have someone to build it.
- CSV import — coming soon on our side. Not shipped. If bulk import is your plan, do not buy on the strength of it.
There is no native Advintek connector and no reason there would be — both products submit to the same LHDN endpoint, so running them together would be duplication rather than integration.
Advintek and MyInvoisBridge, answered
How much does Advintek e-Invoicing cost?
Advintek does not publish a fixed price. Their site states “Contact Advintek for a tailored quotation”. Public fixed price not found. Their support tiers (8×5, 16×5, 24×7) and their published implementation timelines suggest cost varies with both service level and integration scope, so a quote against your own systems is the only reliable number. They also publish a “Free Until 31 December 2027” offer for eligible Phase 5 businesses — we cannot verify the eligibility terms, so ask them.
What is the real difference between Advintek and MyInvoisBridge?
Delivery model, more than features. Advintek sells e-Invoicing as an integration engagement: they connect your existing ERP or accounting system, automate the sync, and manage the submission pipeline for you, with a dedicated account manager and a support tier you choose. We sell software you operate yourself: you sign up, you connect or key in documents, you watch the status. One is a service with a project plan; the other is a subscription with a login. Neither is better in the abstract — they suit different businesses with different amounts of internal capacity.
How long does each take to go live?
Advintek publishes both “Go Live in 24–48 Hours” for SMEs and “8 to 16 weeks” for most businesses — the range reflects how much integration work your situation involves, and that is honest of them. With us, you can be submitting in the LHDN sandbox the same day you sign up, because there is nothing to integrate unless you want the API. The comparison is not really 48 hours versus 8 weeks; it is whether you have systems that need wiring together at all.
Is MyInvoisBridge an enterprise replacement for Advintek?
No. If you need 100+ ERP connectors, a phased multi-system rollout, a dedicated account manager and 24×7 support, we do not offer any of that and would be the wrong choice. We are a self-service SaaS product with email support and a REST API on our Pro plan. Where we overlap is the smaller end of their market: an SME with no ERP estate, which needs LHDN compliance and would rather buy a published plan than commission an integration.
Does Advintek integrate with my accounting system?
Very possibly — they publish support for 100+ systems including QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, Zoho Books, AutoCount, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, FreshBooks and Shopify. We publish no pre-built connectors at all. If you want your existing system connected without writing code, that is a straightforward point to Advintek and we would rather say so than pretend our API is the same thing.
Can I get a fixed monthly price from either?
From us, yes — RM49, RM99 or RM199 per month, published, with document allowances of 100, 500 and 2,000 per month respectively. From Advintek, not publicly: their model is a tailored quotation. That is not a criticism; quoting per engagement is normal for integration-led vendors and often produces a better-fitting price than a fixed plan. It does mean you cannot budget from their website the way you can from ours.
Does Advintek support self-billed or consolidated invoices?
Not publicly confirmed. Advintek's pages describe validation, submission, archiving and real-time tracking of validations, approvals and rejections, and reference LHDN self-billed guidance, but do not state their own self-billed or consolidated support plainly enough for us to record a verdict. Ask them. On our side: self-billed documents are live on Pro; consolidated invoices are coming soon and not shipped today.
Which suits a business with no in-house IT?
It cuts both ways, which is why this one is worth thinking about rather than assuming. No IT team and a complex ERP that must be integrated? Advintek's managed model is designed for exactly that, and attempting it yourself against our API would be a poor idea. No IT team and no ERP — invoices raised by hand, books with an accountant? Then there is nothing to integrate, a managed engagement is solving a problem you do not have, and a self-serve plan you can run from a browser is the smaller purchase.
