RM100 million and above
1 August 2024 — live
The first cohort: very large taxpayers. Mandatory since the date above. If your annual turnover crosses RM100M, MyInvois submission is already a hard requirement for every invoice you issue.
LHDN phases the MyInvois mandate by annual revenue band so the bar lowers progressively. Each phase opens on a fixed date and applies to every business above the threshold from that date forward. There is no opt-out.

1 January 2025 — live
Mid-large enterprises. Mandatory since the date above. Same surface as Phase 1 — invoices, credit notes, debit notes, refund notes, plus the four self-billed variants where applicable.
1 July 2025 — live
The largest cohort by company count: SMEs that touch nearly every sector of the Malaysian economy. If this is you, you are either live or in scoping right now. The deadline does not move.
1 July 2026 — voluntary first
The smallest businesses get a voluntary on-ramp. Mandatory date for this tier may be set by LHDN closer to 2026 — watch the LHDN circulars for confirmation.
